For the second time I wanted to participate in this fantastic world-famous event, the Sella Ronda Bike Day. Last year the event had 28,000 cyclists. This year, at the first edition in June, despite the fabulous weather, only 25,000 people took part in the event. I think many people are still afraid of Covid. From 8:30 to 16:00 the 53 km itinerary around the Sella Ronda is closed to all types of vehicles. Only cyclists can circulate on the street. The itinerary crosses 4 passes: Sella (2240 Mt), Pordoi (2239 Mt), Campolongo (1875 Mt) and Gardena (2121 Mt). You can join the itinerary at any time you wish. This is not a competition! Each cyclist goes at his own pace. You can stop whenever you want to take a break or to photograph the extraordinary landscape offered by the Dolomites. We started at 9:00 and finished at 13:15.
